HTCIC started delivering Future Jobs Fund (FJF) job-starts as a delivery partner within the 3SC consortium in October 2009. The original profile from 3SC of 32 job-starts was increased over time, and presently stands at 636 pending receipt of final job-start profiles.
HTCIC listed over 1100 new job vacancies with nearly 350 SME employers, and placed 636 NEETs (aged 18-24) in work-experience jobs in London and East of England regions between October 2009 and June 2010. A recent polling of participating employers suggests 92.6% of HTCIC FJF candidates who complete their 26-week placement will be offered permanent positions.
A sample list of the many jobs created through the efforts of HTCIC is available on request. Click to see a selection of testimonials from candidates or employers and JCP advisors.
Although the DWP is now looking to replace the FJF with a new and comprehensive welfare-to-work (W2W) programme shortly, there is still capacity available under existing FJF contracts. HTCIC is committed to assisting FJF contract-holders to achieve job-start targets, and would welcome all opportunities to discuss sharing responsibilities.
FJF contract-holders please email b.burden@htcic.org or call 0844-888-7640 for more information.
HTCIC is also able to work alone or with partners to deliver funded and part-funded employment and learning programmes. These would include apprenticeships, sector-specific job-creation and training, and a wide range of vocational qualifications.
