Testimonials from HTCIC Employers and Partners

"Always what we're looking for"

At London Bread & Cake, we have been accessing Future Jobs Funding for the past 4 months.

Within this period of time we have found that the scheme has helped capacity build for our business. (currently 15% growth for the last 2 years)

The candidates are screened efficiently by the HTCIC admin team before we interview them, which makes life a lot easier when it comes to the interview itself; The candidates sent forward are almost always what we’re looking for, which comes at a huge advantage to the business.

At London Bread & Cake we are flexible with the amount of hours allocated to each individual employee and we are happy to see that they display an equal amount of flexibility in their commitment fitting in with our 24/7 operation.

For some candidates, this job would have been their first employment but nevertheless we have found all the candidates willing to learn and hard working.

To date, London Break and Cake has offered 20 NEET’s work experience placements and would strongly recommend the Future Jobs Fund to all types of businesses that seek committed employees.

Just wanted to drop you a line following on from the number of successfully placed

candidates in April.

Once again Enfield have surpassed target and clearly the Team at HTCIC are having a major impact on that figure.

Additionally our candidates and our representative from 'Jobs net' have complimenting us
on our open days, which as you know we hold every Thursday.

I really feel that you attending and speaking with our candidates make the day much more meaningful, given that they have an interview with you and are provided with tips and advice; not to mention the resulting placements !

We do really appreciate the level of commitment that you and team have shown to us, I feel confident that I know exactly where our candidates are at within the recruitment process, with e-mails received at each stage; which has followed on to successfully placing so many candidates.

Thank you so much for all you help.

Kind regards,
Donna.

"A Wonderful Win, Win Scheme."

Pieceofplenty is an SME in the artisan food buisness and we've been trading for 6 years.

The last 2 have been extremely difficult. When I heard about the HTCIC scheme it was an oasis

I've now worked with 2 of their clients; The first very challenging,  the second, the polar opposite, enthusiastic and willing.

Both girls  had so much to learn, not just in terms of focused work experience  but also around communication skills, responsibility and the work  ethic. I was in a position to help.

(My previous careers include  teaching at graduate level so I know how to talk and how to listen).

I couldn't afford monetarially the staff required to keep my business afloat but I could afford one to one time, to give these girls the  knowledge and support they surely needed to make them "work ready".

One of the girls is still with me. Last week she said " I learn more  with you in a day than I do in a day at College".....

We've all received great benefit from this scheme and the staff at  HTCIC have been interested, helpful and supportive throughout. I've  very much appreciated working with them. It's a wonderful win, win scheme.

I just want to say that our customers have been very happy with how things have progressed once you started working with them alongside us.

The speed at which some of them got interviews was really impressive. I had one person come back to me not really knowing what was going on due to the speed at which he was getting progressed through the process.

Others felt that the roles you put in front of them were also quite impressivegiving everyone something that they were interested in.

The feedback you have given in cases where certain areas have been identified as weak is

very much appreciated as it has allowed us to better manage their routes into work.

Sometimes it takes live experience of interviews to find out what still needs to be worked on. We very much appreciate this sort of constructive feedback as we usually do not get it from other providers we work with or indeed the employers themselves.

The format of interviews at our office has also been well received. Managing to see 20+ people in one afternoon is always a challenge but I think it went really well. Sherrin and myself did enjoy working with you and hope to do so as often as we can all make it in the future.

I think you guys add a lot of value to what we are doing in terms of getting our customers from our door through the employers door.

I think going forward, we need to find a way to make it more routine to have someone from HTi in our office on a regular basis (maybe twice a month) to do the interview sessions.

We all look forward to next time.

Warm regards,
Alexander

I thought the scheme was quite useful; it was a good opportunity for young people to gain experience.

These young people were willing to learn and undergo training to ensure they performed well in their role.

Through this scheme, I was able to implement changes to the structure of my organisations that I wouldn’t have been able to do, and I have new members of staff that I can train to hopefully, stay on full time after their contracts.

This scheme provides an avenue to train and mentor young people in a positive way that will help them in the world of work.

The team at HTCIC are helpful and supportive and I would definitely recommend their service to anyone who wants to take their business to another level.

Future Jobs Fund is an amazing opportunity for young people to get some real work experience and for employers to get some young people to help their business develop.

I took on 3 young people at first; they were had half the skill set I needed for the business so I had to train them up and spend lots of time coaching them. They were inexperienced and not very self motivated but they were keen to give it a go.

I then took on 4 more young people who were almost perfect for me. They were absolutely amazing.

They have helped my business grow so much; I’ve been pushed to run the business more efficiently and professionally due to their input. I can even afford to offer them work after their contracts have finished.

I have had to spend time training these young people, but the reward is fantastic because they help me ‘step up my game.’

I take them through training courses and give them additional hours to earn more money.

The staff at HTCIC are brilliant, I would recommend them to everybody. They provide and great service and great support for my business!

When I first heard about the Future Jobs Fund, I thought it would come in handy.

We always provide in-house training to all of our staff and we felt that the scheme would be pretty good for our company.

The few candidates that we interviewed have been very good and some haven’t been as good, but candidates that we have have employeed have been very good.

Our warehouse employees have been very useful to us in terms of taking over the workload from our senior employees (this includes those who have beeen away sick or away on holiday).

Our office administrator has been trained up at junior level and she helps out with the credit control work, as well as helping out with the smaller amounts of work from our senior staff in the office.

Our Marketing employee updates our website and he is learning more about the company, as well as increasing his skills in marketing.

As a compnay we have decided to give two of our current employees full time permanent jobs, because we felt that they have worked out very well with us, their attendance and puntuality has been good and they have taken on all the work that has been given to them.

I have recommended the Future Jobs Fund programme other businesses, without any hesitation.

I had liked working with HTCIC any problems we’ve had, has beed sorted stright away. All payments have been great and we have been paid on time.

When I first heard about the Future Jobs Fund, I was interested in the programme and how the how the recruitment process for the programme would work. The quality of the candidates was good.

I interviewed three people and I was very pleased with the way the HTCIC filtered the candidates.

Having a Future Jobs Fund employee helped lighten our workload and I had made the position a permanent because she was a right fit.

I found the working with HTCIC very good, although I would have liked a few more phone calls over the past few months.

I would use the programme again and I have recommended the scheme to other businesses.

What I first heard about the scheme, I thought it was too good to be true.

But after speaking to the Bev, I felt confident about the scheme.

The scheme the has had its highs and lows, but I have been 75% lucky with the employees I have.

All of our Future Jobs fund employees are brilliant, and have lightened our workload and it has been a great help.

We used to spend hours on admin work and maintenance work instead of generating business.

I have recommended the Future Jobs Fund programme to those in my network (personal contacts), and I would use the scheme again if it is to be continued.

I think the Future Jobs Fund is a brilliant scheme and I am very sad that it is not going to be continued.

I think it is an excellent opportunity for young people to learn a trade, whilst receiving excellent training and knowledge and it does not cause us any problems financially to our company. I

think the quality of the candidates was fairly good, we only had one person who wasn’t suitable but in regards to interviews I have been really pleased and we have taken many of them on after interviewing them.

By taking on Future Jobs Fund candidates has helped us form a stronger team.

We have been able to teach them our ways of working; we nurture them to our quality. We have also explained to all of our employees that they have the opportunity to become a permanent self employed enigineers. Initially they will be on a contract that requires an eighteen month commitment.

Overall I feel that HTCIC has gelled very well with our company and we do not have any qualms.

As a compnay we feel that HTCIC have been very cooperative and I have recommended the scheme to many of my contacts who have joined the scheme.
