Within this period of time we have found that the scheme has helped capacity build for our business. (currently 15% growth for the last 2 years)
The candidates are screened efficiently by the HTCIC admin team before we interview them, which makes life a lot easier when it comes to the interview itself; The candidates sent forward are almost always what we’re looking for, which comes at a huge advantage to the business.
At London Bread & Cake we are flexible with the amount of hours allocated to each individual employee and we are happy to see that they display an equal amount of flexibility in their commitment fitting in with our 24/7 operation.
For some candidates, this job would have been their first employment but nevertheless we have found all the candidates willing to learn and hard working.
To date, London Break and Cake has offered 20 NEET’s work experience placements and would strongly recommend the Future Jobs Fund to all types of businesses that seek committed employees.

candidates in April.
Once again Enfield have surpassed target and clearly the Team at HTCIC are having a major impact on that figure.
Additionally our candidates and our representative from 'Jobs net' have complimenting us
on our open days, which as you know we hold every Thursday.
I really feel that you attending and speaking with our candidates make the day much more meaningful, given that they have an interview with you and are provided with tips and advice; not to mention the resulting placements !
We do really appreciate the level of commitment that you and team have shown to us, I feel confident that I know exactly where our candidates are at within the recruitment process, with e-mails received at each stage; which has followed on to successfully placing so many candidates.
Kind regards,
Donna.

I've now worked with 2 of their clients; The first very challenging, the second, the polar opposite, enthusiastic and willing.
Both girls had so much to learn, not just in terms of focused work experience but also around communication skills, responsibility and the work ethic. I was in a position to help.
(My previous careers include teaching at graduate level so I know how to talk and how to listen).
I couldn't afford monetarially the staff required to keep my business afloat but I could afford one to one time, to give these girls the knowledge and support they surely needed to make them "work ready".
One of the girls is still with me. Last week she said " I learn more with you in a day than I do in a day at College".....
We've all received great benefit from this scheme and the staff at HTCIC have been interested, helpful and supportive throughout. I've very much appreciated working with them. It's a wonderful win, win scheme.

The feedback you have given in cases where certain areas have been identified as weak is
very much appreciated as it has allowed us to better manage their routes into work.
Sometimes it takes live experience of interviews to find out what still needs to be worked on. We very much appreciate this sort of constructive feedback as we usually do not get it from other providers we work with or indeed the employers themselves.
The format of interviews at our office has also been well received. Managing to see 20+ people in one afternoon is always a challenge but I think it went really well. Sherrin and myself did enjoy working with you and hope to do so as often as we can all make it in the future.
I think you guys add a lot of value to what we are doing in terms of getting our customers from our door through the employers door.
I think going forward, we need to find a way to make it more routine to have someone from HTi in our office on a regular basis (maybe twice a month) to do the interview sessions.
We all look forward to next time.
Warm regards,
Alexander

These young people were willing to learn and undergo training to ensure they performed well in their role.
Through this scheme, I was able to implement changes to the structure of my organisations that I wouldn’t have been able to do, and I have new members of staff that I can train to hopefully, stay on full time after their contracts.
This scheme provides an avenue to train and mentor young people in a positive way that will help them in the world of work.
The team at HTCIC are helpful and supportive and I would definitely recommend their service to anyone who wants to take their business to another level.

I took on 3 young people at first; they were had half the skill set I needed for the business so I had to train them up and spend lots of time coaching them. They were inexperienced and not very self motivated but they were keen to give it a go.
I then took on 4 more young people who were almost perfect for me. They were absolutely amazing.
They have helped my business grow so much; I’ve been pushed to run the business more efficiently and professionally due to their input. I can even afford to offer them work after their contracts have finished.
I have had to spend time training these young people, but the reward is fantastic because they help me ‘step up my game.’
I take them through training courses and give them additional hours to earn more money.

The few candidates that we interviewed have been very good and some haven’t been as good, but candidates that we have have employeed have been very good.
Our warehouse employees have been very useful to us in terms of taking over the workload from our senior employees (this includes those who have beeen away sick or away on holiday).
Our office administrator has been trained up at junior level and she helps out with the credit control work, as well as helping out with the smaller amounts of work from our senior staff in the office.
Our Marketing employee updates our website and he is learning more about the company, as well as increasing his skills in marketing.
As a compnay we have decided to give two of our current employees full time permanent jobs, because we felt that they have worked out very well with us, their attendance and puntuality has been good and they have taken on all the work that has been given to them.
I have recommended the Future Jobs Fund programme other businesses, without any hesitation.

By taking on Future Jobs Fund candidates has helped us form a stronger team.
We have been able to teach them our ways of working; we nurture them to our quality. We have also explained to all of our employees that they have the opportunity to become a permanent self employed enigineers. Initially they will be on a contract that requires an eighteen month commitment.
Overall I feel that HTCIC has gelled very well with our company and we do not have any qualms.
